Serving Our Communities

As a FinTech industry leader, Solutran is inspired to invest time and resources to improve the communities where we live and do business. To promote our employees’ volunteer efforts, we partner with UnitedHealth Group’s United for Giving program, which offers donations to chosen non-profits as gratitude for their time spent volunteering. Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House provides a place for families of seriously ill children to stay as their child receives treatment. We had the opportunity to experience firsthand the incredible work the organization is doing by preparing and serving meals to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House inside Children’s Hospital Minnesota.

Open Arms of Minnesota

Solutran employees volunteered with the non-profit organization, Open Arms of Minnesota, which offers free, nutritious meals to people living with life-threating illnesses within the Twin Cities. Over a Thanksgiving holiday, our employees helped prepare and deliver the meals, further advancing our goal of making healthy foods more accessible to all.

Read Indeed

Many Solutran employees have volunteered with the non-profit literacy organization, Read Indeed. The organization provides books to children who could not otherwise afford them. To support Read Indeed’s mission of promoting literacy to at risk kids, our team organized the donated books before they were distributed.

Minnesota Hunger Initiative

Since developing our Healthy Benefits+ program, we have partnered with several non-profits including the Minnesota Hunger Initiative to support food-insecure members of our community.

Leveraging our FinTech payments platform, Solutran provided both funding, executive leadership and technology to support this 12-week pilot of a Healthy Savings program to support 100 Minnesota families. Each family was selected to receive $10 each week to spend on fresh produce along with additional substantial discounts on nutritious food.
